When you're trying to figure out what's best for your child, the education system can feel overwhelming.

My goal isn't to tell you what decisions to make. My goal is to help you understand the information, ask the right questions, and feel confident making informed decisions for your child.

That's why I created AnchorED Advocacy.

Meet Jessica LeMaster

I'm Jessica LeMaster, founder of AnchorED Advocacy and a COPAA SEAT-Certified Educational Advocate based in Missouri.

Like many parents, I've experienced what it feels like to sit at the table with more questions than answers. Those experiences led me to learn the laws, understand the special education process, and eventually dedicate my career to helping other families navigate it.

Today, I work with parents to help them understand school records, prepare for meetings, navigate disagreements, and advocate effectively for their children.

What Makes AnchorED Different?

I believe advocacy should empower parents, not replace them.

That means my role is to help you understand what's happening, explain your options, and prepare you to participate confidently in decisions about your child's education.

Sometimes that means reviewing records.

Sometimes it means preparing for an IEP meeting.

Sometimes it means helping resolve a disagreement with the school.

No matter the situation, my goal is the same:

To help you make informed decisions while working toward collaborative, student-centered solutions whenever possible.

My Approach

Everything I do is guided by a few simple principles:

Put students first.
Treat families and school teams with respect.
Focus on facts, not assumptions.
Communicate clearly and honestly.
Work toward collaborative solutions whenever possible.
Help parents feel informed, prepared, and confident.

I believe the best outcomes happen when everyone has the information they need to make thoughtful decisions.
